We love this store. It's nice not having to strategize with sales and coupons since the prices are always reasonable and the same. We like the fact that all their products are GMO free and that there are many organic options. The employees are always helpful and friendly and the store is very clean and easy to navigate.

Gabrielle was such an incredible and sweet cashier! It was my sister's birthday and we stopped in for snacks to eat while we watched a movie. When Gabrielle found out it was my sister's birthday she gave her a free little bouquet! It made our night!

I lived in Athens for two years before I stumbled across this place. It is tucked behind a lot of mini strip malls so it can't really be seen from the road. It is a relatively small grocery store with prices cheaper than your average retailer. The produce is always fresh and there is a good selection considering. The staff are always friendly which is always nice. I shop here on average about once a week. Where I came from we did not have this establishment. We need more Trader Joe's all over Georgia.

An employee wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt (Sorry I can't remember his name!) was very helpful! He recommended the Tunisian Harissa pepper paste and I absolutely love it! Will definitely shop here again :)

5 stars for the variety, selection of good quality items and friendly, helpful, employees. Food:5/5 Nice selection of items not found in other stores. Prices reflect their selectively, but worth the extra, generally. We particularly like their Christmas added goodies. Known for their reasonable wines. Also have a good selection of seasonal flowers and plants outside and inside. Special things for kids and seasonal events. Produce is fresh. Nice ethnic choices in frozen foods. Service: 5/5 I don't know about other locations, but in this location the employees are friendly and fun. They will walk with you to help you find items you ask about . The manager has on various occasions gone out of his way to assist us. Location 4/5. Conveniently off a main roadway among other stores and restaurants-that's good and bad-parking lot is often busy. However you can park as close as the usual walk for grocery bigger stores. This might not be 5 stars in bigger cities, but it is one of our favorites in Athens, Georgia. It's like the topping on our regular shopping for dull everyday groceries in other bigger stores.

I love TJs. This one is the normal set up for a medium size store. Bathrooms were clean as the rest of the store. I was happy to pick up items that are favorites and also new products.

I'm not a huge fan of Joe's. I like the place but they don't sell everything I need. There food selections are high quality, and fresh. I just don't shop here that often. Enjoy

This place is pretty small in a strip mall, but that is like most. Very busy on a Saturday. This is in a strip mall near Harbor freight and Old Navy. There is also space outside with tables and chairs. It was very busy on a Saturday and at times very overwhelming. Fair prices. Very nice staff and they work very fast and super happy. Some were stocking during busy times and it was hard to get around. Got samples of TJ's Fontina cheese and it was so good.

The Athens Trader Joe's is a great market! I used to come here often while waiting for my pup who was receiving medical treatment at UGA's School of Veterinary Medicine. The store is extremely well-appointed and not to mention, well-organized. The staff is very professional and seem genuinely happy to work there. I've always liked Trader Joe's since having become used to them as a native of Massachusetts. What I most appreciate about Trader Joe's is the affordable prices on a great variety of products in comparison to other stores like Whole Foods. The Trader Joe's brand-specific foods are delicious! There are so many types of snacks to choose from and their frozen food section has all sorts of goodies to include some impressive renditions of Indian cuisine. As you walk into this location, a prepared "to-go" style fridge greets you to your right-hand side and is packed with affordable salads, sandwiches, and meal items to take with you if you're on the run. Frankly, the store is a delight and I enjoy just taking my time browsing the aisles to find new and different things. From food to beauty, coffee to wine, Trader Joe's in Athens has you covered. I am still a bit peeved that Augusta doesn't have one, but Trader Joe's chooses their locations based on certain requirements...maybe one day!

This is a very well organized Trader Joe's and the store is very clean. The staff at this Athens's location provide excellent service as well. Besides, I must say I never seen anyone scan items and bag them as fast as my cashier did, wow! They have a nice selection of Wine's here. Most of the items here are on the opposite side of the store in comparison to the downtown location off Monroe. If you are in Athens, I definitely would recommend this location; it is right off Hwy-316/Epps Bridge Pkwy. [Review #315] (Seventieth Fifth Review of 2015)
